Mount Torrens, SA.

Heading towards Adelaide, we were hesitant to go near the city incase there were any COVID that may cause issues with our plans to go to Tasmania in a week or so. We looked for a nice place on the edge of the city towards the Adelaide Hills and found a the gem called Hillview Farm in Mount Torrens. It is the most stunning area with rolling green hills and endless tall gum trees, and then we drive up the side of a dairy farm and camp on their top paddock with the most amazing view.

We had young cows and the billy goats next to us. One young goat could fit under the fence and came to visit a few times despite Kylie putting him back over the fence. Bridie screamed at one point and Kylie turned around to find the goat at the caravan door. Hahaha. Elsie on the other hand, spent hours talking to and patting the goats and trying her hardest to get the cows to come close enough for a pat.

On the very top of the hill was a tyre swing - this provided good entertainment for the afternoon.

We had a fire and sat out and watched the hills in the afternoon. We cooked potatoes on the fire and had a very fun time even though the rain was coming and going. We wished we could have stayed a bit longer, but due to our Tassie timeline we had to keep moving.

And that's all for this post - I know I'm shocked at the short size too, but this place deserved a post all of it's own.
